“Great, complex nose with a combination of dirty and fruity associations. On the palate spicy, dirty, creamy with a touch of salt. Excellent representative of the 1988 vintage!”

“Limited to a mere 233 bottles this is another great Caroni. First off this one bites and if you want all the flavours you're going to need a few drops of water and then let it rest for 15-30 minutes. After that it really scores. The nose is very nice with a bourbon touch to it followed by a mix of vanilla, tar, wood, olive topped with flowery notes and cigars. The palate is well rounded, heavy and complex with mint and licorice followed by fruits and a tad of oak. Really nice rum indeed.”
