“On the nose initially quite alcoholic, but then come the typical markers of continental mature PMs such as olive, anise, mirabelle and vanilla, and this certain 'funkiness' as already noted in the Romdeluxe PM 2005. On the palate, oak, nutmeg and a quite pleasant bitter note. The alcohol could be a bit better integrated (which also leads to a slightly sharp finish). Otherwise, the TCRL hits it for me but already quite well.”

“Probiert als 5cl Sample. In der Nase zu Beginn sehr alkoholisch, öffnet sich der Rum nach ca. einer Stunde. Dann kann ich Pflaumen, Steinobst, Vanille und einen leichten Holzeinfluss, sowie Klebstoff wahrnehmen. Am Gaumen bleibt ein alkoholischer Geschmack stetiger Begleiter. Dazu kommt eine angenehme Bittere und ein eher würziges Profil mit einer süße, die nicht zu aufdringlich ist. Der Abgang ist recht kurz. Fazit: insgesamt nicht herausragend, Alkohol ist sehr aufdringlich. Solide, mehr aber auch nicht.”

“Nase: Honig-Süß und fruchtig würzig. Und dann gleich getrocknete, geschwefelte Aprikose mit einem Hauch trockenem Leder und rauchigem Holz. Vanille ist daher auch mit von der Partie. Gaumen: angenehm würzig und nicht zu bitter. Leicht süß Richtung getrocknete Pflaume. Es kommt eine leicht künstliche Note von verbranntem Plastik, aber wirklich mit ganz kurz. Muskat, etwas Menthol, etwas Anis. Abgang: Anis Lecker!”
