“Nice, classic Versailles profile with excellent balance of pencil shavings, tea, citrus, wet wood and tart spice notes of pepper, licorice and anise. Definitely brings in rough edges, resulting in an exciting complexity as none of the notes swing out negatively. The VSG 90 profile is of consistently high quality, to which this bottling also impressively testifies.”

“You can taste all the Versailles wood pot still in this rum! Dark, woody, smoky and lots of spice to go along with it! The only note that doesn't make me give it a higher rating is that a little monochord throughout the tasting but if you want to feel what a pot still in wood can offer you this is definitely a rum to try!”
