Nase: intensiv und vielschichtig. Würzig und fruchtig. Eine schöne Mischung aus Pfirsich, Sauerkirsche und Papaya und etwas Zitronenschale. Dazu eine leicht vinegare Note. Er hat etwas schwefeliges, und etwas Wachs dabei. Die Süße geht etwas Richtung gebranntem Zucker. Ich finde Vanille und Schärfe von Zimt. Kirschbaumholz und Leder runden ab. Nett. Gaumen: unverkennbar Savanna! Intensiv und vollmundig, künstlich fruchtig und würzig. Leicht bitter mit Himbeere, Süßkirsche und Sauerkirsche gleichermaßen. Jod und Schwefel sind dabei. Bittere Süße von Persipan. Dazu auch leicht röstig-ledrig. Der gefällt mir durchaus.

Holt mich nicht ab - unausgewogen und belanglos. Sehr dumpf, die Nase ist eher verschlossen. Am Gaumen passiert auch nicht viel - ein wenig Toffee, gelbe Früchte, etwas Tannin, das ich tropischen Früchten zuordnen würde, vor allem aber Würzschärfe und röstige Fassnoten. Leider wirkt der Rum auf mich nicht gänzlich austariert und insgesamt ganz schlichtweg zu langweilig.

Ein guter, aber kein herausragender Savanna. Metallische Noten, Bienenwabe, ganz leicht röstig und etwas Papaya.
