A real hit like a punch to the palate. Nose needs time but once the ethanol style fumes subside a really pleasant raisin note. It’s fairly well balanced and more caramel than many gunpowder proof Navy rums I have sampled before the heat of the 75% alcohol catches up. Intense punchy finish. Real stomp all over your mouth sampled straight and lives with you for a good hour in quite a pleasant fashion
