"I would have loved if this rum had a higher ABV because it's very light in the profile. This also makes it sweeter that it should have been in my mind. Fruity with nice roasted wood. Draws really nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some tobacco and citrus."

"I usually don't really like these sugared Spanish-style rums and I even doubt that the age statements of the Malteco rum-line can be trusted but the 'vintages' from them are very, very tasty and I like them a lot. Update: Now too thin for me, good daily sipper though."

"once again a very horny and unusual Belize Rum! 67.1% are definitely noticeable, which needs >15 minutes time to breathe! then comes really a wacky note of lemon, bergamot, as well as floral tones of elderberry, sandalwood, eucalyptus and baking spices to the fore, the typical pineapple note is here rather in the background.taste then very thick, oily and concentrated, the whole mouth virtually stuck with glue, dark chocolate, sandalwood and bergamot, as well as mocha and macaroons and caramelized meringue with some lemon zest,fat! overall very balanced despite the high % number. And an extremely unusual long finish...."

"Ein milder Geruch und Geschmack von rauchigem Fass, Karamell, Schokolade, Rosine/Rotwein und Vanille. Etwas süß, moderat komplex, ein bisschen rauchige Schärfe, aber sehr rund und stimmig. Ein Rum im spanischen Stil, der vom Standard etwas abweicht und mit verstäkrtem Holz- und erdigen Tabakcharakter auftritt. Bis ca. 2016 war dieser Rum mit einem Portweinfinish gekennzeichnet, danach hieß es, dass er in amerikanischen und französischen Eicherfässern gelagert wurde. Keine Ahnung, ob die aktuelle Version immer noch Portweinfässer sah, aber etwas Rotwein wird im Profil angedeutet."

"Beautiful single cask from cihuatan from El Salvador. Personally, a little too cognac-like, a little too woody and "vinous" and the alcohol could be better integrated. Overall, however, solid sfoff and probably the oldest single barrel from El Salvador to date! And in direct comparison to the predecessor definitely much better!"

"Un nez avec des agrumes, mais aussi du végétal et pas mal de complexité. On retrouve la complexité en bouche avec de la fraîcheur et un bel équilibre. La finale est moyenne/longue toujours dans l’équilibre. Un très beau rhum dans l’élégance."

"Decided to have a sip today and picked this one from the shelf of Agricole. A very good rum Agricole from Martinique. It has a wonderful Agricole nose and a spicy well balanced palate. The finish is very long and spicy with a tad of toffee. Typical Martinique rum at a very good price tag. If you like Agricole rums this one is definitely a must try. "

"This is a very well balanced rum from Oliver & Oliver and they have chosen the best casks from 2009 aged between 25 and 30 years. Having only one is very hard because you'd want to go for seconds. A truly great rum with a low price tag compared to the quality. "

"Un rhum avec une couleur fonçée, un nez de banane sur-mûre, de rôti, un peu décadent. Une attaque nette en bouche, pas diluée malgré l’ABV assez léger, des arômes disparates de cuir, de fruits. Une finale longue, un peu amère. Verre vide bien plus aromatique."

"Au nez, c'est d'abord très boisé et épicé. Je sens des fruits compotés, presque une odeur de Calvados. En bouche, toujours le bois, des tannins, du poivre. Du fruit en fin de bouche. L'alcool est très présent. Le sucre aussi. A l'aération, la bouche est plus sèche encore, presque astringente. Malgré tout, c'est très agréable. Belle découverte. Édit : alcool très présent. Si l'alcool était mieux intégré, ce serait un rhum excellent. Edit2: foutu finish sherry. C'est acté. J'arrête les rhums qui ont séjourné au contact du raisin :)"

"Typiquement le genre de rhum blanc que j'affectionne!! Un nez ultra fruité avec la gourmandise de la canne à sucre suivie d'une fraîcheur végétale. La bouche ne fait qu'élever le niveau de ce jus. Du sucre plein la bouche et toujours cette canne mêlée au citron vert et au fruits tropicaux avec un petit piment/poivre végétal pour relevé le tout. Wouaaah qu'est-ce que c'est bon! Ce rhum pur est un ti-punch préparé à la perfection."

"A beautiful, fruity-woody nose. Besides freshness from limes and oranges, the Calvados clearly comes through with its apple notes. Some grape could also be present. Dry oak and lovely vanilla, with some cocoa and a hint of licorice out the back. On the palate, it's fruity and spicy and comes through salty and bitter at first. Again, the Calvados finish comes through with green apple. Plus some sour cherry and grapefruit. I also find nutmeg and vanilla. In the finish it remains fruity and is increasingly woody.Beautiful Savanna with Interesting Finish"

"Dieser Rum ist holzig, erdig mit Vanille und Trockenfrüchten/Rotwein im Hintergrund. Weitere typische Agricole-Noten wie Leder und Schokolade finden sich auch. Im Mund eher scharf und bittere Noten, aber auch gleichzeitig etwas süß, was durch das Finish mit spanischem Rotwein erklären lässt. Der Rum hat mich nie so ganz überzeugt, wobei er der beste Rum der Destillerie Aldea ist. Preis ist etwas teuer, wenn man ihn nicht in Spanien einkauft."

"nez très fort, avec une attaque d'alcool directe qui annihile presque les autres senteurs. apres repos, se révèle des notes sucrées, guimauve et caramel. une bouche soyeuse, douce et ronde, sucrée, aux notes de miel et d'épices, avec un retour de cacao et de vanille. une finale très courte "
