“I was surprised by the nose. Much more fruit then expected. Coconut and cherry behind vanilla and caramel with a soft woodiness throughout. On the palate it's definitely rye. That bourbon with more spice taste. But there's a caramel that keeps us in rum territory. A little smoky towards the end. The finish has an okay length. The rye mellows a little but the smoke and caramel hangs around longer. Honestly surprised. I was expecting to hate but this is okay.”
