It was distilled in 1998 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 55,1%. This is a limited release and there are only 265 bottles.

Had a wonderful tasting event yesterday with only good CDI rums. This one is the third one of the six. Again a bottling for Denmark that hits the spot. A very nicely finished rum from Guadeloupe. Well balanced with a really nice palate and nose. If it's too sharp for you try to add a drop or two of water. Make sure that you rest it for 10-15 minutes before sipping. A must try if you like Guadeloupe rums.
