"Pretty OK compared to the other previous releases. Still on the sweet side and good for beginners and dessert or an everyday rum. The nose is sweet with dried fruit, vanilla and a hint og oak. In the back i can fint a little coffee. The palate is sweet with fruit, vanilla and light chocolate. The oily palate also offers smoky oak with sherry notes. The finish is medium long with dried fruit and oak with a hint of chocolate. The nose the day after eminating from the glass is lovely."

" Tasted it together with my last glass from a 2004 and I think it’s slightly better than that one cause it’s not as sweet as the 2004 but on the other hand it’s also feels thinner. The fragrance is quite complex with clear barrel character, hints of muscovado sugar, raisins, arrack, marzipan, dark chocolate, orange and vanilla. In mouth and palate it’s also complex with some sweetness and clear barrel character, hints of raisins, muscovado sugar, orange, chocolate, arrack, nuts, cinnamon, Sherry and vanilla fudge. The finish is medium long and tastes more or less the same."

"Have had this one for a while together with three other of the single vintages and this is the first one I open. I think it has a nuanced, complex and a elegant taste of almonds, nuts, chocolate, yellow fruits such as orange, arrack and with a hint of candied figs. The Sherry finish is also clearly recognizable. The finish is quite long. Unfortunately I think it’s a little too sweet even though the ABV of 43% balance the sweetness to a certain grade. "

"Merkliche Zuckernote, die über das Reinprodukt hinaus geht. Wer sich davon abgeholt fühlt, findet hier definitiv einen der besseren Vertreter dieser Gattung. Mich stört die Fominanz der Süsse, da sie leider den Rest des Destillats deutlich überlagert. Insgesamt fehlt es an Komplexität, das Spektrum bleibt zu bewusst gefällig."

"29.03.2014 Whiskymessen Met a few new rum guys that have stuck until this day. We all went back home to pick up some bottles that we shared at the event. Notes Medium dark colour. Nose Light, light wood, citrus, sweet, faint coffee. Palate Light, light wood, round, sweet, fruits, light coffee, faint caramel, orange. Finish Short, light wood, faint smoke, orange, light coffee."
