"Last Sundays tasting was a great one and one of the best ones this year. This is the heavy stuff and you can pick up the flavours from a distance away just ope ING the bottle. Hot stuff on the palate but a very nice one. Try without water first, just let it rest for 30 minutes. "

Top review from Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓:
"Strong, very aromatic blend, in which, according to my impression, the PM portion predominates, especially on the nose, which I like quite a bit. Really solid rum, full of character, but can not hold a candle to the AN and SWR of El Dorado. Update 2022-11-28: First impression fully confirmed at second tasting."

"A very nice release and something a real Agricole person will score higher i think. Intense yet well balanced in the flavours. At the same time the ABV has been well integrated. The price at release was really good compared to what you get."

"Navy rum originale degli anni 70 Un rum scuro e intenso il legno è molto presente e lascia una nota amara abbastanza intensa! More, prugne e datteri secchi gli danno una bella nota dolciastra che contrasta il legno! Qualche sfumatura in più è sarebbe un grande rum!"

"When you look at the price tag you will get a surprise trying this rum. You get a bang for your buck here. Very fruity and fresh with nice floral notes. The palate is smooth and rounded despite the ABV. Lovely rum 😊"

"Bought this Rhum Neisson Blanc from Catawiki a few months ago. The distillery is owned by the Neisson family since its foundation in 1932. They uses fresh sugar cane juice from locally grown cane. After a quite long fermentation it’s distilled in a French Savalle column still installed 1938. Overall a great Agricole Blanc that’s very good neat, but a little weak in a Ti Punch."

Top review from Oliver:
"Very inviting nose with dried apricots, raisins and delicate chocolate notes. The palate can then unfortunately not quite keep up with the fantastic nose. Slight alcoholic spiciness perceptible - was briefly even with unsweetened, Spanish style at barrel strength. But that is criticism at a high level. Relatively dry, spicy and pleasant wood notes.Very nice Enmore!"

Top review from Mirko Frosini 🇮🇪:
"Stunning. Rich in aroma and on the palate there is a pronounced peatiness wrapped in a fruity and olive spirit. Long finish. I am being surprised by some white rums that are fruity, but with a strong character rich in nuances thanks to good fermentations. Keeping in mind the value for money this rum is definitely worth considering. I have often spent three times as much for mediocre rums. This distillery is the only one in the world that grinds with a mill that is still working with water. Hand-harvested cane and distillation fire fed with the remains of the cane. Fermentation with native yeasts. Old-fashioned rum."

"I'm preparing for an exclusive tasting for some of my colleagues and I just got this rum for testing and it will stay on my collection. A very unique set of flavours and I think it's a good bottle for first timers in Agricole. The price is a bit high compared to what you get. "

"This is an exceptional Rhum from Saint James. It’s a blend of the vintages of 1998, 2000 and 2003 all of them aged for over 12 years in small bourbon casks. I can really recommend it, even though the average price is a little high at around €180."

"Overall a pleasant Clairin that works very well neat that I tasted at the Sweden Rumfest 2023. It’s like all Clairins from Haiti and in this case from Sonson Pierre Gilles distillery in Cabaret. It’s produced from the local sugar cane variety, Madame Meuze, that after the cane is pressed is reduced to syrup that after fermentation is distilled in their pot still by Stephan Kalil Saoud."

"Extremely pleasing navy blend without flaws but also without real highlights. Aromatic predominantly with the Guyana and Barbados component. Due to the slight sweetness relaxed drinkable."

Top review from TheRhumhoe:

"Ok now we are getting into the slightly more premium side of Karukera as this bottle will set you back about 100€ today. Lots of wood and barrel on nose and palate. Well-integrated alcohol. ABV is just right here, not sure it could support more but definitely wouldn't want less either. The bitter note, which I'm starting to suspect is a Karukera signature, is present but is much better and more enjoyable than in the 2009 select cask. Very noticeable caramel. Medium to short finish. Price to quality is mediocre, but it's a very enjoyable rum nevertheless."

"Looking at the price tag you get a lot for your money in this one as well. Very fresh and fruity from opening the bottle and warm on the palate with some ester. I have tried a few HERR and this one is not fully up to par with the average. The 2019 is still my personal favourite ☺️"

"This rum has turned my drinking behavior upside down. Before that, I drank wine almost exclusively. This daiquiri opened up a new world for me. "Wild fermentation, freshcut grass" was on the menu at Gone Away Bar (RIP😪).It's mostly the fermented, savory, salty vegetal flavors that set this Cane Juice rum apart from the French agricoles. The nose is marked by savory antipasti: olives, artichokes, hot peppers. In addition, grass and tobacco. Fruit is there too: gooseberry and lime, but quite a bit behind. In the daiquiri it becomes a bit fruitier and fresher. The savory notes, however, remain and you have to like them. I like them.In the mouth it is soft but still quite unusual: olives, olives, olives. Brine, ginger with green peppers. Also the often described mezcal note.In the finish more olive, artichokes and brine.Pure is honestly too crass for me, but in the daiquiri he is gigantic."

"One of the best Agricole’s I’ve tasted, but the weak nose makes me stop at 92. The finish is quite long and goes as on the palate. It’s a blend of some of the best vintages from the Longueteau house, that consists of 70% 8yo, 20% 9yo and 10% 10yo Rhum."

"#4080 Again a great bargain when looking at what you get. A very fresh white with very good ABV integration. Lightly fruity with cane and vegetal notes. Draws pretty nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some copper and grass."

"Overall a great rum that’s very fruity and works well neat and I’m sure it will also do in drinks and cocktails that I tasted at a Masterclass led by Mr. Lars Renbjer, owner of the brand and Renbjer Fine Spirits, at the Sweden Rumfest 2023. It’s a a blend of column still rum from Trinidad and pot still rum from Jamaica. The Trinidad part, which is the main part, is aged between two and five years that’s filtered after aging to get it white. The minor part from Jamaica is unaged."
