"This is a nice Port Mourant and I like the heavy nose with a lot of flavours being released after 15+ minutes of rest. Ester, coffee and herbs moving towards a medicinal nose. The palate is also kind of heavy with a floral touch, fruits and leather follows and still has a medicinal note. The finish is long and warm and you can clearly taste the sherry from the 5 year sherry cask finish. "

"Beautiful single cask from cihuatan from El Salvador. Personally, a little too cognac-like, a little too woody and "vinous" and the alcohol could be better integrated. Overall, however, solid sfoff and probably the oldest single barrel from El Salvador to date! And in direct comparison to the predecessor definitely much better!"

"Horny shit. Only 3y old and so delicious, mild and complex! Horny balanced by the alcohol content, dirty and intense after dark in butter baked popcorn, plus dark chocolate cookies with red fruits, dates and lots of spices. Neat tannins and sulfur, as well as toasted barrel notes and salted pretzels and again buttered popcorn round out the whole. Very awesome! For me, an absolute board. Makes an incredibly horny old fashioned and Mai Tai🤤 for me probably the absolute benchmark as far as rum from Madeira is concerned!"

"Wird ja immer besser! Hat eben schon der El Salvador von Royal Cane eine gute Figur gemacht, so setzt der Fiji noch einen drauf! Scheiß drauf, dass der nichts von einem Fiji hat, er ist schön kräftig und schmeckt einfach. (Obwohl ich zugeben muss, dass er im Gegensatz zum El Salvador besser zu einem Winterabend passen würde.)"

"Danke an Pedro Ferreira, der meinen Schwiegereltern einige Rumproben mitgab :-) Die Nase ist extrem ungewöhnlich, schwer zu beschreiben. Wein, butterig, röstig, vergorene Früchte (Trauben) und Artischocke?!? Komplex! Im Mund sehr ungewöhnlich für einen Agricole, überhaupt nicht würzig, sondern süß und weinlastig, was durch das Madeirafass kommt. Etwas besonderes, ja ein außergewöhlicher Rum!"

"Sherry influence is especially in the taste quite clearly perceptible, but rounds the whole harmoniously without being too dominant and especially without being too sweet. to get to know Guyana at a fair PLV times and also relaxed strong old fashioneds to stir an excellent choice!"

"Erster Eindruck... Alkohol nicht gut eingebunden. PX kommt einiges durch(vorallem im Abgang)... viel Vanille und Süße . Irgendwie hatte mehr erwartet/gehofft . Bei Gelegenheit werde ich mir nochmals mehr Zeit nehmen."
