Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"We had a nice Agricole evening yesterday and the lineup was really good. I'll start with the last one first. A grand Agricole from the top shelf. Really well balanced with light fruit and age shown in the elegant wood on the profile. Light caramel and licorice in the back of the profile. Not a cheap bottle but definitely a good one and I will go hunting for one if u can find it at a good price."

"Yet another nice Bielle, unfortunately it's a rather rare bottle which makes the price go through the roof. The quality is really good but doesn't match the 500 euro+price tag. The nose is wonderful and fruity with spices. In the back there is a light wood note with a hint of nuts. The palate is lightly woody with fruits and spices. The palate is also warm and well balanced with a peppery note and nougat hidden in the back. The finish is medium to long with light wood and lovely fruits. There is a nice balance in spices and a nice refreshing menthol touch. A very good rum but the price is a bit off."

"This one arrived this morning from France and I am already at number two of this nice rum. The nose is nice and typical Agricole with fruits and spices. A slight wood, floral, spice and sugarcane touch to it. The palate is complex and slightly dry with a lot of fruits. There is a sweet note with an earthy, floral and pepper touch to it. Smoky oak also joins in the consecutive sips. The finish is long and lightly sweet with fruits and caramel and in the back some wood. The cognac casks they were finished in is there from the nose to the finish. "

"#4033 This is a very well balanced rum and I think the price is more than fair on this bottle. Fruity and kind of soft on the nose despite the ABV. I love the roasted wood notes and also the floral touch to the profile. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has light leather and coffee notes."

Top review from Jakob:
"Great bottling with the almost typical menthol note, which brings depth to the otherwise of fruit esters, wood influence, spice, vanilla and subtle caramel sweetness marked flavor profile. In direct comparison with the 95 Clarendon but clearly in the rear, because the alcohol here most clearly appears."

"This is a retaste and I still love it. Yesterday I got this one delivered and I just had to sample it once it was at normal temperature. The nose is typical Agricole with a lot of overripe fruits and a grassy note. There is some sugar there too. The palate is wonderful and an explosion of flavours. Again Agricole comes to mind with a lot of fruits. Slightly bitter with tobacco, smoke and oak and a hint of floral touch. The finish is medium to long, sweet with papaya and toasted oak."

"I just got two bottles of this limited release and I'd say it's pretty good. I scored this one a bit lower but price to quality is very good. Lightly fruity with spices and roasted wood in near perfect harmony. A well balanced rum and I recommend leaving the empty glass for a while and then whiff it again because that is a nice experience."

"I love this oak forest. There are other unicorns besides the 1986 WIRD. You walk in a very old oak forest, fresh resin on the nose (the couch potato could also say glue), some orange keeps in the background, humus-rich forest floor on which grows damp moss. The taste continues with a pleasant bitterness for wood lovers, dried fruits keep in the background. Too much fruit here would also destroy the flair of the forest. With time in the glass, leather and vanilla come through more strongly. The finish is extremely long lasting, complemented by tobacco. Disappointed here who expects a maximum of complexity which is simply not very pronounced."

"Bought this Rhum Neisson Blanc from Catawiki a few months ago. The distillery is owned by the Neisson family since its foundation in 1932. They uses fresh sugar cane juice from locally grown cane. After a quite long fermentation it’s distilled in a French Savalle column still installed 1938. Overall a great Agricole Blanc that’s very good neat, but a little weak in a Ti Punch."

Top review from TheRhumhoe:

"This is a really nice release and I have tried a few of the white rums from Labat and most of them are really good. This one has a very fresh profile with an intense and dry profile. It needs time to rest before it releases all its flavours. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and I like the empty glass where the honey note gets even stronger. Price to quality is very good in my mind."

"Compared to the second release this one lack a bit. It is of course a younger model, but it can still keep up I think. Lightly woody with fruits from nose to finish. Lovely spices appear on the palate and finish nicely balanced with chocolate and caramel/toffee. There is a flowery hint i there and a medicinal hint i can't put my finger on. Price to quality is very good."

Top review from Mirko Frosini 🇮🇪:
"Stunning. Rich in aroma and on the palate there is a pronounced peatiness wrapped in a fruity and olive spirit. Long finish. I am being surprised by some white rums that are fruity, but with a strong character rich in nuances thanks to good fermentations. Keeping in mind the value for money this rum is definitely worth considering. I have often spent three times as much for mediocre rums. This distillery is the only one in the world that grinds with a mill that is still working with water. Hand-harvested cane and distillation fire fed with the remains of the cane. Fermentation with native yeasts. Old-fashioned rum."

"I'm preparing for an exclusive tasting for some of my colleagues and I just got this rum for testing and it will stay on my collection. A very unique set of flavours and I think it's a good bottle for first timers in Agricole. The price is a bit high compared to what you get. "

"This one have been on my shelf for a while, but now it was time to check it out during some warm summer days out in the Stockholm archipelago. The finish is quite long. Overall a typical Martinique Blanc that works well neat and is very good in a TiPunch."

Top review from Portman:

Top review from TheRhumhoe:

"Bought this bottle when I drove down to Spain some weeks ago. It’s first aged for 1 year in French and American oak barrels and thereafter for 3 years in former bourbon barrels. The taste of bourbon is dominates, which I find a little bit too much especially when the bottle was newly opened. If you like Agricole and Bourbon, go for it."

Top review from Frank:
"After a long time again a clear in the glass. Nose: clear thing. Fruity-fermented, vegetable and fermented sugar cane juice. Although slightly sweet, but then more in the direction of olive with a touch of caraway. The 50% gives some freshness, but in the end it seems rather earthy and musty. 60 The nose continues on the palate: earthy and musty, fresh peat. A somewhat nasty undertone of geranium intrudes. The rum is not sweet, but grassy sugar cane comes through. Not really pretty. 58 Good to try the Ausgsngsstoff, but so really what to do with it I would not know now."

Top review from Decky Hicks Doughty:
"The nose has heaps of molasses and raisins. There's something mineral in the background and cinnamon comes out after further nosing, some charred notes from the bourbon barrel is also there. The palate is very light and pleasant to drink. I hate to say smooth but......smooth. Less fruit than the nose, a good amount of sweetness. There's some tobacco but not bitter, almost a caramelised tobacco. Milk chocolate and cinnamon are also present. The finish is short and keeps the sweetness and cinnamon from the palate. For the price this is an top class rum. Similar in price to quality to Plantation Original Dark. Something that should be tried."
