Interesting light blend at a low price. A lot of confusion and without a clearly recognizable line. Perhaps most similar to a young Jamaican.
8,8:On the nose, the first impression is spicy, sweet spices and some caramel, as it is roasted with leather, tar, smoky, plastic, dirty(Caroni) and Jamaican with overripe, fermented tropical fruits, a bit estery, some grass and pastries (might be WP). When we air it, we get tasty chocolate, some tiramisu, more pastry, dried fruits, becomes dry, whisky-like🙂👌.Even better, very tempting as it ended in Bellevue. 9:On the palate it is very spicy, warm with sweet spices, pastry, salted caramel, tropical fruits, esters, dried fruits, dry, roasted, bbq, salty, meaty, medicinal notes/metallic/smoky. Trinidadian, Jamaican and Bellevue notes are complementing each other beautifully and are balanced, with no edges. Alcohol is nicely integrated. A very tasty rum. 8,8:The finish is long with dried fruits, spicy, smoky, toasted wood, dry. Smooth, complex, rounded, great blend, has some nice smokey notes. I rest my case here, as I think it is underestimated, as it has a great price/performance💪🙂.
Nice discovery
Very good value for money rum. the integration of the alcohol is not perfect. it deserves a good airing to make us discover all its potential and its final remains warm and alcoholic.
