“A very old tasting and I have the following notes. Beautiful colour wig fruity and wood notes. Rather thin on the palate, watered down too much.”

“An antique rum with a very contrasting profile. The nose is very exuberant on tropical and yellow fruits, surprisingly well preserved in the rum. Floral and vegetal notes are also present, accompanied by the aromas of wood, vanilla spices and caramel. On the palate, the spicy, vanilla woodiness takes over, with vegetal and earthy flavors in the background rounding out a profile that has very subtle fruit notes compared to the nose. The dilution is felt on the palate with an almost watery texture. The finish, of medium length, is very similar to the palate. A rather divisive rum with disparate aromas, which is nevertheless part of the history of Martinique.”
