How does this rum taste?
RumX members praise its bright pear-driven fruit and complex agricole character. Aromas of pear, honey and delicate florals lead to a rounded palate with nutty chocolate, gentle pepper and hints of smoky oak. Many note a medium‑to‑long finish and well-judged balance, though some wish for a touch more power at 45%. A popular choice with 52 reviews and strong buyer confidence.

Delighted, finally, to taste a Velier Rhum Rhum! Unfortunately, expectations were higher, but still we are dealing with a fine rum.
With a medium to long finish this is a very nice rum. Very fruity and rounded taste wit spices. I like the smoky oak on the palate with chocolate. This one was wonderful on the nose this morning :-)
Lacks perhaps a little power and length, but the balance of this rum makes it very pleasant.
An unusual profile for an agricole, very pastry-like, with vanilla and very ripe pear on the nose.
