ganz ok aber kommt leider nicht an die alten SCC Abfüllungen ran ,da gefällt mir der Wagemut PX Cask besser denn der ist für mich stimmiger

Insgesamt ein Easy Sipper, der durch das Rotwein-Finish interessante Aromen bekommt, aber auch nicht herausragt. Für die Nerds ist das nichts, für Einsteiger aber sicherlich eine interessante Erfahrung – vor allem durch die 40 Euro.

Dieser Rum erinnert mich sofort an Honig mit Frucht an der Nase und vor allem wegen der traubigen Noten an ein Wein-Finish (Sauternes oder Sherry). Vanille und Schokolade auch dabei. Im Mund süßer Honig, Gewürze und alkoholische Schärfe. Das war es aber leider schon, da das ganze Mundgefühl inklusive Abgang eher dünn ist. Der Wein ist stets präsent.

Der Rotwein kommt gut durch. Fruchtig, süß, würzig, gefällig. Bleibt aber recht alkoholisch. Im 2. Tasting musste ich ihn jetzt im Vergleich zu anderen verkosteten Rums um einige Punkte nach unten setzten.

Ein fruchtiges Aroma, etwas Vanille, leicht alkoholisch. Der Geschmack ist fruchtig, hat eine relativ hohe Süße, im Abgang etwas brennend und wärmend.

Nase: meine erste Assoziation war Zuckerwatte 🙂 der Rum kann nicht verbergen, dass er im Weinfass lag! Alkohol ist sehr präsent. Mund: ja, wieder Rotwein und dunkler Schokolade, verblasst aber recht schnell. Abgang: Fass und Kakao bleiben einen Moment hängen. Am spannendsten ist noch die Nase. Ein milder Rum mit interessantem Finish.

Ein guter Easy-Sipper. Nicht zu komplex, aber durch das Weinfass durchaus etwas Tiefe. Hintenraus dann plötzlich eine kurze Süße, die mich überrascht, wurde hier gesüßt? Das Finish dezenter und besser eingebunden, als es beim 2020er oder Zweigelt der Fall war.

Lässt sich gut trinken…das wars aber dann auch schon…hab ein wenig mehr erhofft…kurzer Abgang. PLV ist aber am Ende gut und man sollte immer bedenken, dass dieser Rum einem Einstieg in Fassstärke bieten soll…

Damn! Great deal! Light and smooth but a lot of flavoures to taste. Even the alkohol is over average the taste is not "pure alkohol". However great rum!

da hatte ich mir etwas mehr von erhofft. das Rotwein Finish ist meiner Meinung nach etwas zu dominant, dazu ist er mir etwas zu süß und einfach überhaupt nicht komplex und etwas dünn insgesamt. dazu etwas alkoholisch scharf an der Nase... klar für den Preis kann man echt nicht meckern und lecker, sowie smooth zum trinken nebenher ist er. aber für eine Fassstärke ist er mir persönlich etwas zu schnell weg und zu langweilig... allerdings für Einsteiger ein sehr schöner single cask der einen nicht direkt überfordert. da bleib ich lieber beim alten SCC 2020.

Ganz ehrlich, ich hatte mir mehr erhofft. Die Nase recht fruchig, Rotweinfinish halt. Selbst hier kitzelt der Alkohol schon ein wenig. Am Gaumen, dünn, alkoholisch, viel Holz- und Röstaromen und Rotwein. Für mich zu eindimensional und zu alkoholisch. Preislich ok. Aber solche Finish sind eh nicht so meins.
