The "VSOP" was produced in Mauritius at the Saint Aubin distillery. It was distilled from Sugar cane juice with a Pot Still and then aged for 4 years. The rum has an ABV of 42%. "Very light rhum."
"A subtle nose in the freshness, in the juice of sugar cane and a little wooded... It invites you to travel... What a disappointment in mouth... A first presence in the juice of sugar cane then is very quickly replaced by the spicy, the pepper and the bitterness. A very short alcoholic end with an astringent end... Pleasant without pretension..."
