“Ein schönes Teil. 20 Jahre gereift, das ist schon was! Bin gespannt… Nase: intensiv, fruchtig, holzig-würzig, leicht rauchig-dreckig, wunderbar integrierter Alkohol und echt rund und lecker. Zuerst die fruchtige Komponente: Hier eine schöne süße und zugleich saure Mischung aus grünem Apfel, Stachelbeere, roter Weintraube und roter Johannisbeere. Hinzu kommt die Frische von Minze. Hat auch eine feine Karamell-Note. Minze zusammen mit Tabak und leichten Rauch erzielen dann auch diese typische leichte Dreckigkeit. Gefällt mir sehr. 8,9 Gaumen: Trinidad-DNA pur. Intensiv und kräftig, ganz am Anfang leicht bitter und dann erfüllt schon die frische Minze den Mundraum. Hinzu kommen leicht dreckige Noten von Öl, Jod und angesengtem Plastik (klingt schon fast wie Caroni 😏). Hinten kommen schöne tropische Fruchtsromen heraus, Passionsfrucht und Physalis. Die Minze und dieses leicht ölige bleiben noch wunderbar lange auf der Zunge. Toller alter TDL, bei dem man die 59% nicht spürt. 8,9”

“Hammer Teil. Alkohol sehr gut integriert. 59% sind nicht spührbar. Er hat eine schöne Geschmackstiefe, dreckige trinidadesque Noten. Der Abgang hält sehr lange! Am nächsten Morgen ist der Geschmack noch im Hals. Besonders die Passionsfrucht hält sehr lange an. Tolles Ding!”
