Sweet rums are not my cup of tea, but this bottling still enjoys a special status. I immersed myself in the world of rums years ago through this one, which is why I have added a few nostalgic points to my rating. Anyone expecting a typical 25-year-old Trinidad rum will be disappointed. However, it is a very round rum with lots of sweet vanilla/chocolate and caramel notes. 53% are hardly noticeable.
