I love rums from Bielle because you always know that they're good and the price matches what you get. What I found in this one, that adding water actually throws it off balance, so try to only rest it instead. The nose is oaky with fruits, sugarcane and spices with a hint of mint and chocolate. The palate is oily and oaky with fruit and a lovely mix of spices trailed by light mint. The finish is long and oaky with dried fruit and a bunch of spices.

Very good rum from bielle. A very good taste of citrus fruits on pepper with a wood passing on wood! It's really good! Can't wait to taste the releases!

It is really good and well done. The mouth offers a very nice greediness (chocolate, caramel, vanilla). A little less fresh than the 2010 tasted just now, it presents on the other hand a better mastered woody taste. To my taste, the perfect Bielle would have been this one with the length of the other one or the other one with the greedy notes of this one: to be continued...

These Brut de fut are an amazing way to learn about Bielle distillery in Marie-Galante. The rums are great for they price tag. I remember the 2007 vintage, what a rum. I was then in a different path in my rum journey. Just coming out from the Zacapas, Plantation 20th and Diplos of this rumworld. I was discovering Foursquare, Habitation Velier Jamaicans and this kind of Rhum Agricole. Bielle don’t follow the same rules as the-so-called real agricoles, that’s maybe the reason why I liked it so much. Bielle suits rum geeks that like molasses 😊. Nose: Peaches, lots of peaches. Especially dried. It reminds me of the 2007 vintage. Sweet aromas of xxx tbc…

Le nez est très porté sur les agrumes. Le nez est envouteur avec une belle fraicheur et des épices en pagailles. La note de réglisse propre à Bielle est là mais moins présentes que d’accoutumé. Sans oublier une jolie gousse de vanille. C’est très pâtissier. En bouche, malgré que ce soit un BDF, c’est doux. Le boisé est présent avec délicatesse. C’est fruité et agréable. On a droit à une belle bouche vanillée-réglisse-clou de girofle. Une belle longueur sur les fruits confits clôture cette agréable dégustation. 2014 avait été une année exceptionnelle en termes de récoltes de canne.

Comparaison de bielle 2014 brut de fût. Élégant et équilibré. Alcool très bien intégré. Profil plutôt sombre en bouche (épicé, bois, chocolat même si un peu d'agrumes rehausse le tout), qui ne correspond pas tout à fait au nez, plus frais et fruité. C'est celui que je préfère.

Le 1er nez sur l'orange et le bois précieux puis le bois devient ciré avec beaucoup d'épices mélangées au caramel et aux fruits (sans réussir à les identifier). Très équilibré et gourmand. La bouche attaque plus fort que ceux à quoi on peut s'attendre avec le nez. On retrouve les mêmes marqueurs qu'au nez en plus du côté pimenté et des agrumes. Les épices dominent mais sans que cela ne dérange bien au contraire. La finale est longue et gourmande. Comme toujours un grand rhum de chez Bielle.

Magnifique, nez splendide sur la vanille et le caramel. En bouche on retrouve ces arômes avec un boisé super bien intégré. Bien épicé en finale.

Sehr ausgewogen. Der Alkohol ist sehr gut eingebunden. Es schmeckt fast mild und erstaunlich süß. Leider ist der Abgang unterdurchschnittlich.

I found a coherence with the other single casks of Bielle that I have tasted in the past, with a nice balance between a pastry side and the freshness of the cane.aeration is necessary to appreciate it, it reveals quinces, dried apricots, a very pleasant sweet woody.
