“In the nose, still with a clear impact of port, but on the palate, the spices press quite on the tube and despite the reduction to (high) drinking strength, the rum adheres to a quite accentuated spiciness. In the finish, a somewhat medicinal-mineral note joins in. Overall exciting, because the rum is aromatically already expressive, but unfortunately remains somewhat unbalanced. Lies for me behind the sister bottling with Madeira finish.”

“Good for a gentle introduction to Jamaican rums. Interesting nose involving several solvents, but not aggressive, on a background of red fruits. The palate is good, with a hint of port finish, but the whole is rather watery. Less reduction would have been preferable. A very pleasant rum overall, as always with Worthy Park.”

“I'm liking this one a lot. Probably because it's not too funky as some other Jamaicans 😅 A nice sweetness but also with a slight bittef twist to it. The port is there but not overpowering the taste imo. Very easy to drink as well.”
