On aeration, the molasses is thick with honeycomb, vegetal, earthy with tobacco, various dried fruits arise like apricots and prunes, some cherries, tons of charred wood notes join as leather, coffee, dark chocolate, spicy with vanilla, medicinal notes with glue, 8,3:On the palate, the attack is sweet with charred wood notes like burnt sugar, cocoa, roasted nuts, crème brûlée, the wood is slightly resinous, so a bit bitter, then mineral, peated from peated whisky finish, musty, the molasses is candied, thick, brings eucalyptus, as various fruits like dried dates, prunes, apricots, raisins and citrus, pears, pair quite heavy peat, then charred notes, on oxidation smoky and salty, spicy with various baking spices. 8,4:The finish is long, more balanced, round, less heavy with whisky finish notes, dry and tannic, fruitier with banana, dried and citrus fruits, nicely pairing roasted wood notes, smoky and spicy..
