“The sherry is very dominant on this not so typical Caroni. I'd say that the ABV is a bit unbalanced on the palate. The nose is fruity with sherry a lot os sherry actually, vanilla, tar, caramel and light wood. The palate is again dominated by sherry trailed by fruits, tar, caramel and smoky wood. The finish is medium long with fruits, wood and light tar.”

“Very enjoyable sipper. The nose is dominant with sweet sherry, which I love. Behind these heavy curtains you get a hint of tar. The palate switches things around, Caroni profile is much more present, maybe not so much rubber or bike inner tube, but tar, smoke, minerality, wood, then sherry comes in. It does lack intensity, but you can compensate that by taking bigger sips. Which is also nice as you never really get any burn or alcohol notes.”
