"I've had the sample for so long and am only now getting around to it... Nose: quite typical of Uitvlugt, spicy-roasty, slightly burnt with lots of lemon. Sweet-tropical with passion fruit and delicately spicy with cardamom. Green banana and metallic copper on the finish. Delicate and rather subtle on the nose, the age of 20 years is not yet noticeable. 8,2 Palate: powerful and burnt-spicy. Immediately an intense taste of soap in the mouth. Bitter lemon peel also goes well with this. Slightly salty and peppery with plenty of clove. You don't notice the age here, as it is hardly woody. Overall a little flat and too soapy for me. 7.6"

"A bit too rough on the palate, very smoky. The rest is a lot of classic continental aged Port Mourant profile, unfortunately overall a good a piece away from the top representatives of continental aged Uitvlugts."

"Somewhat atypical for a Port Morant. Too many herbal notes for me."
