How does this rum taste?
Trinidad Rum is a rare, limited release from Trinidad, distilled from molasses in 1999 and aged for 21 years. A prima rum. The nose gives a lot of uitvlugt. Mouth and finish pleasantly peach. The low ABV is there, of course. But still: top quality. No off-flavors, very straightforward thereby and accessible.
Oh man, what a rum. It's very fruity on the nose, and also quite woody. On the palate, all I can recognize is wood. But a really tasty rum, you can't really say anything against it.
Etwas nichtssagend. Schmeckt, als ob er ein Whisky Finish gehabt hat.
26.06.2021 Sitting at home enjoying a few samples. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Wood, light roasted, light licorice, dried fruits, faint mint, light herbs. Palate Oily, medium dry, wood, faint smoke, spice, herbs, light vegetal, apple, light citrus, medium spicy. Finish Medium long, wood, fruits, warm, light grass, herbs, light mint.
