Klassisches altes Demerara-Profil, Trockenpflaume trifft Holz, Leder und Tabak. Etwas verkohlt und deshalb kratzig, aber wer die schwere, komplexe Aromatik alter Guyana-Abfüllungen mag, ist hier zuhause. Tolles Profil, es fehlt ein wenig an Ausdruckskraft im Direktvergleich mit anderen grossen Demeraras der Dekade; eine grosse Freude ist das aber unzweifelhaft.
Klassischer alter Demerara mit viel dunklem Holz, getrockneten Früchten und einem Hauch Tabak. Die 24 Jahre Reifung sind spürbar, bringen Tiefe und Reife. Kein Monster an Intensität, aber ein sehr schöner Vertreter dieser Art. Wer diese eher trockene, ledrige Stilistik mag, wird hier definitiv glücklich.
