How does this rum taste?
The Rumclub Private Selection Edition 15 Navy Style Rum is a distinctive limited release, blending rums aged from six months to fifteen years. With only 334 bottles produced, this exclusive rum offers a bouquet of tropical fruits, wood, and dried fruit notes. Despite its reputed smoothness for a navy style, users appreciate the complex interplay of spicy, chocolate, and orange flavors on the palate. While praised for its balancing act and quality for the price, some suggest it lacks the typical strength expected from navy rums. Perfect for newcomers and casual sipping, this rum is a balanced mix of Caribbean flavors bottled by the Spirit of Rum.

Retasting at the German Rum Fest 2023 and I still like the price to quality. ----- For a navy rum and though it is kind of heavy on the nose and palate I'd say its too smooth for a navy rum. Not that it's bad, it's a pretty good rum at the price tag. Fruity and woody with chocolate all the way and a good beginner rum in the navy style department. Price to quality is very good.
Navy Rums gibt es viele. Viele schlechte, wenige gute.
Very well rounded blend. Amazing nose with a nice basket of fruits and some spices. Taste however cannot live up to that. Somewhat watered down feel and not enough overall punch for a navy rum.
