#4078 A pretty nice release and a well balanced one at the same time. Fruity with nice spices and well integrated ABV. I really like the light minty and floral note in the profile. The empty glass reveals some coffee and nuts.

Great mint note that pulls completely through the rum! Otherwise, I discover but unfortunately not much exciting, wood, spices and in the finish some black tea.

Nase: wirkt recht frisch und jung, leicht beißend und alkoholisch zu Beginn. Es folgt eine intensive, tropische Fruchtigkeit mit frischer Limette und süßlicher Zitrone. Erinnert an saftigen Plattpfirsich. Parallel ist er aber auch recht süß, Zuckersirup mit Orangeat. Hinten leicht Tabak und deutlich Essig. Wird auch etwas holziger zum Ende. Gaumen: auch hier recht fruchtig, aber würziger. Kommt recht trocken daher und wirkt dadurch leicht salzig. Süßlich-herb durch Zitrone und Mandarine und deutlich süßlich-säuerlich wie von reifen Stachelbeeren. Es schließt etwas Grünes, Frisches, Minziges an. Zum Ende etwas Früchtebrot mit Orangeat und frisch geschnittenes Geäst, Tee und Anis im Abgang. Gar nicht mal so schlecht. Am Gaumen besser als in der Nase. Gehobener Durchschnitt mit gutem PLV.

Ce soir dégustation à l'aveugle. Pas de difficultés au nez (des arômes boisés, une touche mentholée et un soupçon de goudron et d'ecorces d'agumes) confirmé par la bouche : ce sera un TDL. Par contre : surpise car je ne m'attendais pas à celui la! Très belle mise en bouteille de Ferrand pour découvrir le tdl un peu sale mais pas trop,et à un super prix. Vraiment très réussi. Merci Michael pour le sample👍😉

Muss meine Bewertung aus dem November letzten Jahres (90 Punkte) nach gestrigem Cross Tasting mit diversen T.D.L.s realistisch nach unten korrigieren, und zwar gleich um 10 Punkte. Es ist immer noch ein sehr guter Rum, aber wirkt im Vergleich zu anderen geradezu billig, wässrig, künstlich gesüßt (ist er aber nicht!!) und hat einen deutlich kürzeren Abgang. Wie gesagt, im direkten Vergleich zu anderen T.D.L.s, z. B. von CDI oder Samaroli, die ohnehin mindestens eine Klasse höher spielen (auch preislich) - insofern fast unfairer Vergleich ... Neues Fazit: Immer noch sehr gelungener, ehrlicher Daily Sipper mit super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und Cannabis-Note am Gaumen😉, vor allem im Sommer zu empfehlen.

Nose: spicy, sweet, minty and nice fruity. Palate: great balance between sweet and dry, fresh and woody. Find the rum quite accessible. Slightly alcoholic on the finish, but that doesn't bother. Good PLV.

very nice tdl of Plantation and even without dosage!🥳 very fresh, light, easy sipping and yet surprisingly complex and dry. this combination of mint, tangerine, almond / orgeat and vanilla with a little pineapple picks me up completely. in addition, for 50€ a fantastic price-performance rum.✌🏼ein few % more would have done him good though, gladly also for 10-15€ more...

Measured at the price a quite successful rum..the nose pleases me with the fresh fruit and the mint quite well! On the palate and in the finish, however, he then falls off significantly...too mild, soft and gentle he comes along, somehow missing with a clear line here!

nachdem die Flasche nach den ersten Verkostungen mittlerweile schon etwas leerer geworden ist, kommt er mir irgendwie weniger fruchtig vor, stattdessen mehr in Richtung dirty-minzig. Die Traube-Cognac-Noten und die feine Mandel sind zwar noch da, aber jetzt etwas dezenter im Hintergrund. Am Gaumen gefällt er mit einer röstigen Würze gepaart mit Mandarine. Lobenswert finde ich auch die neue Transparenz auf dem Etikett, kein Zuckerzusatz, und überhaupt, für 60 EUR gibt es hier ziemlich ordentlichen Rum fürs Geld! Ein Hoch auf den (in den Caroni-Sümpfen beheimateten) roten Ibis 😉

Beau produit de la maison Ferrand comme à son habitude. Mention spéciale pour le dosage 0 ! Un premier nez porté sur l’amande-frangipane, au second nez la pêche est bien présente puis viennent les fruits exotiques. La bouche est vive, l’attaque est fraîche à l’image du nez. Je sens une légère amertume pas désagréable en fin de bouche. Les 51,8% sont bien intégrés, le finale est plutôt moyenne.

Amai what a difference from yesterday's single cask, this time no added sugars!The flavor profile for me is very much in the direction of sweet pastry, almond and marzipan.I enjoyed this with a nice piece of cake.Ps: the smell left in the glass: sweet tobacco24/07: took this one back and tasted it more consciously. Cognac influences noticeable and some fresh notes. Some sharpness from the alcohol, but not overpowering. At the very end hint of tobacco. Fruitier than I remember.

A very complex fruit explosion on the nose, mouth and palate. Refreshing citrus, still some peach and strawberry. Becomes a bit sweeter over time instead of sour, rather salty on the finish. Overall, a nice flavor journey.

1er verre de la bouteille. Nez très fruité, une pointe mentholé et épicé avec un caoutchouc/goudron en fond (léger) ça donne envie . Bouche fruité (tropicaux) et épicé, on retrouve un goudron léger qui se mêle à de l'ananas et un caramel au beurre qui laissera revenir le petit mentholé avec lequel il se melangera pour la finale. Viens ensuite le côté iodé et enfin un retour du caoutchouc tardif. Très très bon ! Excellent rapport qualité/prix à voir quand la bouteille se sera un peu vidée/aérée.

Rhum complexe et très structuré, il donne l'impression de partir dans tous les sens mais non. Son profil empyreumatique, frais et fruité avec sa touche "Caroni" permet de bien s'éclater

Le nez est très pâtissier : de la vanille et de l’amande ! Mais aussi fruité : mandarine-ananas ! Quelques arômes de menthe et de boisé s’en détachent. C’est réussi et charmeur. En bouche, c’est dense et sec ! On retrouve la salade de fruits exotiques du nez et des épices. Le tout relevé d’une touche pétrolée très agréable. La finale est légèrement acidulée et pique légèrement la langue. On a un petit effet mentholé et iodé qui reste en bouche. La longueur est plus que respectable sur le boisé pour ce type de budget ! Beau TDL avec un rapport Q/P plutôt bien réussit pour 60€ !
