"With a medium to long finish and a very nice smoothness to it, this is a great rum, especially if looking at the price tag. Leave to rest for at least 15 minutes so it can release all its flavours. Typical Foursquare with a little twist. Fruity with oak and a tad of smoke hidden in there. The balance between the ABV and the fruit and spices is almost the pinnacle of perfection."
"Positive surprise. Stands out pleasantly from the sheer countless Foursquare release. The dilution has here, according to my impressions, the quite existing alcoholic sharpness tamed nicely and released the way for a coherent aroma complex of classic Foursquare notes: Wood, pimento spice, pepper, vanilla and caramelized nuts. Not an absolute top notch, but a pleasing and relaxed sipper."
"Quite nice foursquare representative, however, the 50% could be much milder and more drinkable. Unfortunately, not quite as harmonious overall picture as hoped for and quite sharp and bitter mMn.Nevertheless, a solid bouquet of dark chocolate, coffee, ginger, allspice, bkardamom and bitter orange, as well as grapefruit peel. The otherwise so present and typical coconut note is completely missing here."
