This one is woody but not overwhelming, with more flavors of other fresh fruits: peaches, oranges, berries (red fruits), and more acidic than any HJF. Very fresh, herbs and pastries at the same time (Nosing and palate), not too ripe, little jam and mulled wine. Very distinctive <>H, and all three are very different from the usual Hampdens. Good Hampden, but I prefer HJF 2002 for its flavor concentration and expressiveness. This one isn't easy to drink compared with HJF for nearly same body.

Very good hampden 😍 Alcohol is integrated very well. It‘s domaninat in the nose, but it soften up if you let it fill your mouth. This really need some time to fully open. I‘ll add later some drops of water… Update: It helps! Is there Kiwi and marzipan in the nose 🤔 In the nose: tropical fruits with esters (hampden like), oak (wood - barrel), Citrus, Strong solvents, polish, medicinal (you‘ll know it has more than 60%). On the palate: tropical fruits (lot of pineapple, banana, mango), oak. A dry, astrigend and funky, delicious, fully bodied feeling in the mouth. The finish: is medium long, dry and bitter. A lot of wood, roasted, tannins and astrigend feeling.
