“Really awesome how much Savanna & Armagnac harmonize. Lots of wood, lots of spice, some glue, chili, raisin, red grape and baked banana, and dark chocolate cookies. Then also a bit bitter on the finish, astringent and with lots of tannins and glue, menthol and overripe banana and strong mocha, as well as Really Dark Dark Chocolate. Alcohol is very well integrated and really fun to drink. Very drinkable for a Savanna! For me in terms of Savanna in the Armagnac barrel definitely the benchmark currently.”

“Ein vergleichsweise röstiger Savanna-Vertreter, was in meinen Augen aber grundsätzlich für die spannende Bandbreite der Destille spricht. Davon abgesehen bleibt hier neben den erwähnten Röstnoten primär noch etwas Frucht, Holz und Vanillesüsse aus dem Fass hängen. Gut, aber nicht kein Savanna, von dem ich mir eine Flasche wünschen würde.”
