"Tonight's "disappointment" in the sense that it didn't live up to the memory it had left me when I first tasted it. Good, but the aromatic intensity and length on the palate were far less than I remembered. A feeling confirmed by the friend at whose house I tasted it again... Is it because we've just opened the bottle? In any case, try again..."

"Wow, what an aroma. Dense, spicy wintry and great grassy sugar cane associations. Great, intense agricole. Amazing what 4 years of tropical aging can do. Absolute recommendation!"

"Wow, was für ein intensives Bouquet. Und das bei nur 4 Jahren Reifung. Nase: intensiv, vollmundig, lecker. Dunkle Frucht wie Brombeere und schwarze Johannisbeere treffen auf süße, getrocknete Dattel mit Zitrusmarmelade und Ahornsirup. Dahinter noch frische Sauerkirsche und ein Hauch Minze, wenn man etwas kräftiger einzieht. Gefällt mir sehr gut. 8,9 Gaumen: da ist so einiges los. Kräftig und intensiv, würzig und fruchtig. Zu Beginn habe ich, wie so oft bei Agricol aus Martinique, Seife und Veilchen. Dann kommt leicht Pfeffer mit Kümmel und Muskat, die aber sofort von süßer Tonkabohne abgelöst werden. Hat auch eine leicht buttrige Textur wie von Brioche. Hinten wieder das Veilchen und Kräuter mit Gras. 8,7 Toller, intensiver Agricole, der für das junge Alter von 4 Jahren sehr viel zu bieten hat."
