"Very woody, powerful agricole. Needs a lot of time and then offers many barrel notes. Alcohol is very well integrated."

"Wow. The nose is superb and well-balanced, very smooth despite the watts. Then it's the same on the palate. A superb agricole!"

"Hands down the greatest alcohol integration I have ever experienced. I had to actually double-check the bottle because I found it hard to believe it was 62%. I like many agricole distilleries but La Mauny is the only one I love and this bottle reminds me why. Chock-full of character, perfectly mature, perfectly balanced, but above all with a key sense of personality that just accords with me personally with just the right amount of fruity and woody in just my type of harmony. It’s all there and it just makes me happy when I drink it. Criticisms don’t come to mind easy when something is this good. It’s not just that it lacks anything offensive, high-end Favorites and HSE’s do that just fine, it’s that it also has a uniqueness of taste that just slots into my tastebuds like they were meant to go there in a way that other character-filled Martinique agricoles like JM simply do not for me. To me, a true masterpiece."
