Poisson Père Labat Black Opus 2009
Highly praised for its elegant, gourmand profile: soft wood, caramel and dried fruits with refined agricole character. Loved for finesse and balance rather than power.
Agricole fans who enjoy refined, dessert-friendly sippers with soft wood, caramel and raisin rather than high-ester funk or high proof punch.

My first Pere Labat tasting with the guys and a lot of fun. This one was a nice surprise and price to quality is good.
Ex bourbon ex cognac chauffe 3 denieres années 11 ans 177€ Shorter on the palate
Great rum but a little lack of power. 46 abv would have been great. Also the price is too much. I’d rather go for a Neisson VSOP for 70 euros. Instead of 240 for this one.
Note toaster, fruit exotique léger. Manque de puissance
