The nose is very pastry-like, with almond, honey... and ripe fruit (banana, orange, pineapple). It's quite a crazy nose, as it immediately reminds me of Velier Hampden H 2010! But I'm leaning more towards the Sherry finish than the distillate itself. Because this isn't the first time that Sherry finishes have produced really interesting noses: Foursquare Principia, HSE Fino & Olorosso. On the palate, tropical fruit is again present, but in a very gentle way. It's like a fruitcake, with beautiful red fruits galore. All sprinkled with spices.
