The "Rhum Vieux Agricole" was produced in Martinique at the Trois Rivières distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler K&L Wines. It was distilled in 2006 from Sugar cane juice with a Creole Column and then aged for 13 years. The rum has an ABV of 51,3%. "11.06.2021 A nice evening with some friends at the beach bringing some nice rums. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Round, balanced, cinnamon, apple, light sugarcane, light citrus, berries. Palate Round, light, balanced, sugarcane, light wood, light citrus, light vegetal, spice, faint licorice, medium dry. Finish Medium long, warm, light wood, cinnamon, light caramel, light tobacco, vanilla."
"I'm not always a fan of the aged agricoles, but this one is delicious. A bit vegetal and savory."
