TCRL Panamá Province Panama 2011
Most enjoy its mellow, creamy caramel-fruity profile and dry edge. Critics miss complexity and higher proof. Consensus: a reliable, approachable Panama for relaxed sipping, not a wow-bottle.
Those building their palate who enjoy softly sweet, vanilla-caramel Panamanian rums and want an easy, low-fuss sipper with a slightly drier, nutty twist.

How does this rum taste?
Approachable, mellow Panama daily sipper
If you like light, easy Latin-style rums but want something a bit drier and more natural than the very sweet brands, this is a gentle, budget-friendly option.
Funk hunters, proof hounds, and anyone seeking high complexity or intense cask-strength character—this will feel too soft and simple.

The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

For my sensation, a rather dry representative from Panama. That is good, but unfortunately lacks complexity. Probably a few percent more would do him good.
In the tradition of the TCRL australia, more rounded
Sweet nose but with a somewhat artificial alcohol note. Appley and sweet on the palate. A little watery and for me not as cardboardy sweet as usual with Panama. Interesting but nothing outstanding.
I had higher hopes for this one. Given the age, I expected smoother. It was OK, with the slightest oak flavor. Mixing did not improve it.
