"Vertical PM tasting: 89 / 95 /97 / 97 (cognac finish) / 02 / 05 / 13: Nose: Classic PM notes with some additional depth vs. the younger bottlings. Palate: nice complexity paying tribute to its age. Delivers what you would hope for in a continental PM with a nice touch of dried fruits."

"Very round, delicious rum from Guyana - Uitvlugt. Very pleasant to drink, i would say a rum for every day. Alcohol is integrated very well. Also the wood isn‘t dominant here, but well noted in the finish. Price per value is very good too. PN This one need some time to fully open uo Nose: Solvents, nail polish, delicious, fresh, black tea, herbal, some lovely notes of anise, trop. fruits, apricot, yellow fruits, sour, orange, prunes, citrus, young wood Mouth: dry, delicious, sharpness, round, full bodied, complex, olive, herbal, black tea, sweet, brown sugar, maple, trop. fruits, prunes, fruity, blum, salty, oak(barrel), roasted, vanilla Finish: medium, dry, round, tannins, black tea, trop. fruits, vanilla, leather, oak (barrel), toasted, roasted"

"Edit: von mal zu mal schmeckt er mir immer besser Guyana, ein ganz anderer Geschmack in der Rumwelt für mich. Da ich mich noch nie intensiv mit dieser Sparte beschäftigt habe, ist es schwer die ersten Eindrücke zu schildern. Auf jedenfall sehr interessant. Macht auf jedenfall Lust auf mehr. Denke hier muss ich nochmal Nachverkosten, definitiv."
