Vertical PM tasting: 89 / 95 /97 / 97 (cognac finish) / 02 / 05 / 13: Nose: Classic PM notes with some additional depth vs. the younger bottlings. Palate: nice complexity paying tribute to its age. Delivers what you would hope for in a continental PM with a nice touch of dried fruits.
Very round, delicious rum from Guyana - Uitvlugt. Very pleasant to drink, i would say a rum for every day. Alcohol is integrated very well. Also the wood isn‘t dominant here, but well noted in the finish. Price per value is very good too. Edit: I like it better and better every time I try it Guyana, a completely different taste in the rum world for me. As I've never dealt intensively with this category before, it's difficult to describe my first impressions. Very interesting in any case. Definitely makes you want more. I think I'll have to taste it again, definitely.
