It was distilled in 2005 from Molasses and then aged for 15 years. The rum has an ABV of 61%. 28.05.2021 Relaxing at home with some nice samples. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, pineapple, spice, light nutts, faint coconut. Palate Round, warm, light wood, faint smoke, faint coconut, light ginger, spice, faint vegetal. Finish Medium long, wood, fruits, spice, light roasted, faint chocolate.
Très bon, comme tout ce qui sort de cette distillerie. On retrouve les marqueurs classiques. Alcool très bien intégré, jolie nez mais pas très marqué, en bouche pur délice. Belle longueur en bouche.
Soft coconut. Balance. Sweet vanilla. Almonds. Actually this one reminds me Admiral Rodney rums from st. Lucia distillers. This FS release seems to me “very column” blended cask(s?) Orange and lemon zest. Coconut on the palate also. Marzipan.
