28.05.2021 Relaxing at home with some nice samples. Notes Dark in colour. Nose Wood, plum, spice, light honey, light chocolate, faint licorice. Palate Balanced, complex, fruity, plum, light cherry, floral, medium spicy, medium dry, wood, faint smoke. Finish Medium to long, wood, light prunes, light floral, medium dry, light spicy.
Sehr dunkle Farbe. Früchte ( Kirsche und rote Weintrauben), würzig, für 23 Jahre erstaunlicherweise wenig Holz und Honig. Warm, komplex, perfekt geschmolzen. Im Mund dann süß und etwas leichter, was ihn sehr süffig macht. Ein wunderschöner Abgang, winterlich würzig, Honig, getrocknete Früchte. Lang auch noch dazu… Mein erster La Favorite. Schöner Rum. Danke nach Bonn für diesen seltenen Fund.

Magnificent bottle, really makes you want to try a second glass. Very long on the palate, with magnificent balance. On this second tasting, I'm still under the spell of this incredible rum.
