How does this rum taste?
- Well-balanced flavors
- Smooth, easy to drink
- Good value for money
Penny Blue VSOP is a Mauritian rum crafted at Medine Estate from molasses and aged for 4 years, offering a 40% ABV. Users describe it as a balanced blend of vanilla and woody notes with a caramelized sweetness. Appreciated for its value and ease of drinking, its aromatic presence surpasses its palate depth. Ideal for those seeking a mid-range rum, its gentle sweetness and light body make it a versatile option for casual gatherings. While its finish may not be robust, the rum's blend of vanilla, wood, and subtle caramel tones provide a pleasing, if slightly mellow, tasting experience.

"Nice rum but without being crazy. Bought to have a bar with mid-range rums for friends coming to have an aperitif. Very smooth, almost no finish but easy to drink! I think that the 40% does not play in its favor but it remains a very good value for money!"
"Guter Einsteigerrum.
