I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 25,000 bottlings, 280,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 50,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

A very good rum. Very smooth, balanced and drinkable for the volume percentage and Reimonenq. The Fiji finish has definitely done something to the product. Although I slightly prefer the regular Reimonenq profile.
Auto-translatedI love Reimonenq and this one didn't disappoint at all. Overall nice and fruity with wood and clear Agricole notes. I like the hint of caramel and nuts as well as the warmth on the palate. Needs to rest to really kick in on the flavours.
The 2 extra years in the fiji barrel compared to the other 6y reimonenq 54% from j.b. labat. are subtly recognizable and make it much more exciting! incredibly harmonious and drinkable, delicious. Nougat, peach, butterscotch and a hint of mint and vanilla pulp with dried apricots. totally my thing.
Auto-translatedNice palette of flavours, hindered by a trait dominant and a bit too much spicy
