The "Trelawny Endemic Birds (Red Billed Streamertail) LROK" was produced in Jamaica at the Hampden distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Velier. It was distilled in 2010 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 10 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 62,2% and the mark is LROK. 22.05.2021 A nice tasting with a few friends and a lot of participants. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, fruity, ester, pineapple, light glue, faint smoke, cinnamon. Palate Balanced, warm, light wood, light leather, pineapples, light solvents, light clove, faint vegetal, light ester. Finish Medium to long, warm, balanced, medium dry, light smoke, fruits, light vegetal. Extra note. Needs to rest for a good while to release all its flavours.
