How does this rum taste?
The Jamaican Rum JMH <>H 2001 from Hampden is a distinguished 19-year-old rum with limited availability, bottled by Thompson Bros. Distilled from molasses using pot stills, it offers a vibrant aroma blend of pineapple, ester, and marzipan with hints of solvent and fermented elements. The taste profile is rich, dominated by pineapple, ester, and tropical fruits, alongside young wood and spicy notes. Users appreciate its balance of high ester complexity with an approachable drinkability at 61% ABV. This rum's finish is lengthy and maintains its fruity and ester-centered character. It's an intriguing choice for those seeking a sophisticated Jamaican rum experience, typical of the Hampden distillery's distinctive flair.

15.07.2021 Nothing better than meeting people for dinner and rum when you're on holiday. Notes Light in colour. Nose Light wood, faint roasted, fruity, banana, overripe, light glue. Palate Naturally sweet, light wood, roasted, fruity, citrus, medium dry, polish. Finish Long, naturally sweet, wood, dried fruit.
Schönes Teil, was wieder mal ausgesucht wurde. Hätte ich so nie probiert.
RumX Kalender 23 Tag 10 Intensive gegrillte Ananas, reichlich Ester.
