07.2024 um es vorwegzunehmen: meine zweitliebste Spirituose ist Portwein. Erster Eindruck: schöne klare rotbraune Farbe, Legs im Glas Nase: wow, sehr reich, intensiv, aromatisch, leicht, rund. Alles was Rum und Port zu bieten haben, dazu diese typische, leichte Gumminote Gaumen: jetzt kratzt es leider zuerst etwas, aber die Rum- und Portnoten verbinden sich gut und keine der beiden dominiert die andere. Abgang: langer Nachhall insbesondere auf der hinteren Zunge, der zwar nicht bitter wird, sich aber auch nicht entwickelt. Gesamteindruck: die komplexe Nase gefällt mir deutlich besser als der Gaumen. Preiswerter und seriöser Einstieg in die Welt der Weinfass-gelagerten Rums. Weil der Eindruck am Gaumen nicht das hält, was die Nase verspricht, bleibe ich unter 8,0
