How does this rum taste?
- Rich vanilla notes
- Complex flavor profile
- Distinctive Flor de Caña style
Flor de Caña 130th Anniversary is a Nicaraguan rum meticulously crafted from molasses at the Compania Licorera distillery. Aged for 20 years and bottled at 45% ABV, it showcases a harmonious blend of vanilla, wood, and dried fruit aromas. This rum is celebrated for its spicy and fruity palate with notes of oak and subtle sweetness. While praised for its complexity and distinctive Flor de Caña style, some users noted a certain sharpness and poorly integrated alcohol. Overall, it is regarded as a satisfying option, especially in terms of value for the price, though it may not suit all tastes due to its dryness and woody finish. This anniversary edition offers a nuanced experience of aged Nicaraguan rum.

To Compania Licorera
"A pretty good release especially when looking at the price tag. Fruity, well rounded with nice spices and wood. Nice and oiky on the palate and it draws really nice curtains in the glass."
"Last sample that I brought to Turkey 🥃 A rather decent rum with some sweetness in the nose. Also caramel and some nuttyness is present. The notes gave way to vanilla, oak and roasted nuts, with an oaky and peppery finish"
"The best Flor de Cana so far. Still disappoints with poorly integrated alcohol. Gave it time to rest and some nuts eventually revealed. It's decently on the dry and woody side."
"Pleases me despite his lesser age clearly better than the 25er. Somewhat sweeter, fruitier and more intense tangerine, but not as woody as his older brother. At the same time richer fruit notes, than the 12s, 15s or 18s. My favorite among the Flor de Cañas."
