"Rote-Früchte-Tee mit Schuss. Passt! Und dass hier als zweites Fass das sehr seltene Holz der Wildkirsche (Merisier) verwendet wird, sollte noch einmal explizit hervorgehoben werden. Wann hat man das schon mal?"

"Gray‘s Verkostung rx9122 vs. Rx14941 vs. Rx7608 Der Double Cask Merisier holt mich direkt an der Nase nicht übermäßig ab und am Gaumen ist er mir viel zu dünn. Für mich klar der schwächste der drei Grays"

"Red tea punch with backing spices and a lot of wood in the nose. Really nice, balanced and something different. On the palate it is quite strong, the alcohol is not integrated very good and the nose is much more promising. Overall a nice drop but a sample is sufficient and I am looking forward to the next one."

"Eher ungewohnte Holzaromen treffen auf verschiedene Beerenfrüchte, Sauerkirschen, Earl Grey Tee und einen Hauch Minze. Ein paar Prozente mehr hätten diesen Rum vermutlich noch auf ein anderes Level gehoben, aber auch mit seiner entspannten Trinkstärke gefällt er mir gut."
