“The nose is quite roasted. Hazelnuts and oak are most prominent. The palate is quite oaky. Hints of raw licorice and cocoa. On the dry side. The finish keeps the oak and some vanilla. It is quite short though. Overall, I am a little disappointed but this is the 40% abv version. I'd say the Doorly's 5 year old might be a better buy.”
