“This one is partly dominated by the barrel and the alcohol hasn't been integrated too well. Despite that it still does what it's supposed to. I left it to rest for 30 minutes after which the nose and palate improved. The nose is sharp with fruit and grassy notes. There is also vanilla and smoke and a load of bourbon. The palate is heavy on the bourbon and malt but you do get some vanilla and lemon. The finish is dry with wood and smoke and a tad of vanilla/clove.”
